Curry Goes to Hollywood

Last week, members of the Curry community traveled west to meet with both Curry alums and prospective Curry students. At a reception held at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, students were able to mingle with alumni who work in the film and television industry. One alumnus even brought a special guest, Patrick Warburton. You may remember Patrick from his days as "Puddy" on the TV show Seinfeld or in his current role in the show "Rules of Engagement." Here is a picture of students in our communication major with actor Patrick Warburton.

Hockey Team Rings in the New Year with a Big Win!

The Men's Hockey team started 2009 with a bang by knocking off #3 nationally ranked Middleburry College at the Middleburry Hockey Classic. This marks the second time Curry has defeated a nationally ranked team this season. The Colonels previously beat Colby, who was then ranked #14 nationally. A full recap of the game can be found on both the Middlebury and Curry athletics homepages.

Fall into Curry

This fall we have been treated to brightly colored leaves, blue skies, and the occasional pick-up wiffle ball game.

These prime conditions have welcomed many visitors to our New England campus over the past month. More than 1,000 prospective students and their family members joined us for our first Open House last week and we anticipate another large crowd this Sunday November 2, for our second Open House. If you haven't already done so, RSVP online today!

Also, remember that our December 1st, Early Decision deadline is approaching fast! Applications are currently being accepted for Early Decision and Regular Rolling Admission - apply online here.
