Are you attending our Open House this Sunday? If so, we've created a list of helpful tips and recommendations for your visit to campus.
#1 - Arrive early, but not too early
No need to arrive at the crack of dawn, but arriving a few minutes early would probably be beneficial. Although check-in and the Information Fair begin at 10:00am, it would be a good idea to arrive sometime between 9:45-10:00. We are expecting record turnout, so expect some minor traffic as you pull into campus on Rt. 138 / Blue Hill Avenue.
#2 - Wear comfortable shoes
Situated on 137 acres, chances are you'll want to walk around and explore our beautiful tree-clad campus. Walking tours of campus will be available throughout the day and typically last 45 minutes. If you get tired, don't worry - we've arranged to have trolleys transport you around campus.
#3 - Bring a notepad and a few questions
Throughout the day there will be many opportunities to speak with professors and faculty members. If you are interested in a particular academic program, this will be a perfect time to ask a question or two.
#4 - Attend the First-Year Experience session
Are undecided about what you want to study in college? If so, this session is for you. Learn about all the ways that our small college environment will help you explore different liberal arts and pre-professional based programs.
#5 - Get your Passport stamped and win a prize!
When you check-in, you will be given a passport to Curry College. As you explore our new student center, you can present your passport to any student service office or academic department for a stamp. Once you have at least 5 stamps in your passport, head to the Admission table to receive a free t-shirt and be entered to win some great prizes!
